The City of PAE welcome all coaches from our local sport and recreation clubs and schools to join us for our two (2) FREE PAE Community Coaches Workshops in 2024, which will be presented by Associate Professor Sam Elliott from Flinders University.
Workshop #1 - AI/Automation for Sporting Clubs & Coaches
Date: Monday 6th May 2024
Workshop Overview: Community sporting clubs and coaches are increasingly asked to do more with less. To address a range of time, human and logistical resource limitations, this workshop will explore cutting-edge AI technology that can be leveraged by clubs, coaches and leaders to manage their sporting programs. Discover innovative strategies, leverage data-driven insights, and cultivate a competitive edge in sports through hands-on applications and interactive sessions. It is highly recommended that attendees bring along their own data-enabled mobile device (e.g. tablet, mobile phone or laptop).
Workshop #2 - Transformational Coaching
Date: Monday 4th November 2024
Workshop Overview: For optimal enhancement of coach development, educational programs should focus on the interpersonal behaviors of coaches, integrate behaviour-change techniques, and include thorough evaluation procedures. This workshop will introduce the concept of transformational coaching and provide attendees an opportunity to reflect on and develop their own coaching using a transformational coaching tool.
Catering: Pizzas will be provided for dinner - please advise of any dietary requirements.
Both workshops will run from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and be located at Clearview Bowling Club (Coleridge Crescent, Clearview SA 5085).
